05 Jul Epigenetic Data Sciences to Present Data at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2018 (AAIC)
BALTIMORE, MD.—Epigenetic Data Sciences (EDS) announced today that Loretta Anderson, Director of Research, will make a poster presentation discussing new research from its Neuro-Aging Division at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference® 2018 (AAIC) in Chicago, July 22 – 26, 2018. The poster titled Innovative Software Platform for Targeting Dysregulated Epigenetic Pathways and Identifying Novel Therapeutic Approaches in Alzheimer’s Disease: A Comprehensive Approach will discuss EDS’s latest data science tools in epigenetic research for Alzheimer’s disease. Loretta will be presenting on Monday July 23, 2018 at 9:30am CDT, poster #P2-039.
The Alzheimer’s Association International Conference is the premier environment for presenting the world’s leading research on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. EDS’s Director of Research, Loretta Anderson will be presenting groundbreaking work at this year’s AAIC meeting during their segment on Preclinical Therapeutics. We identify novel therapeutic approaches to Alzheimer’s disease by targeting dysregulated epigenetic pathways. This work is the first step in identifying effective disease modifying treatments.
About EDS
With work beginning in 2014, Epigenetic Data Sciences is leading the fight against disease with cutting edge technologies through multiple disciplines. EDS is a pioneer in combining systems biology, epigenetics, and data science to study the abnormal gene expression critical for disease formation and progression. This knowledge is key to formulating plans to counter this dysregulation. With the Cancer and Neuro-Aging divisions up and running, EDS is on a mission to help those living with disease feel more confident in their self-care.
